Bay of Pigs

3D Modeling, Animation, Storytelling
Project Overview
Bay of Pigs is an experimental 3D animation that explores police presence in the US through a critical, satirical lens. Built in Cinema 4D, Bay of Pigs uses dynamic systems and 3D modeling to create an engaging short film. I co-produced the sound track on Ableton with my friend and DJ, Axel Andilari.

Production Process
Bay of Bigs was built with all original assets in Cinema 4D. Assets include cop cars, a dancing figure, and a "cop monster." Characters were rigged using motion from Mixamo. This film utilizes a low-poly aesthetic and choice reflective materials to provide visual interest. I used emitters, particle systems, and dynamics to create the shooting and exploding car scenes. After building out several 3D environments with lighting, I incorporated splines and animated cameras to capture various short renders at different angles. These renders were compiled, overlayed and cut to the music in Adobe Premiere Pro.
