Accessing Art

Documentary, Audio Description, Disability Justice
Project Overview
Accessing Art is a mini docu-series created with collaborator Keighton Li. The series follows three New York City artists who identify as somehow disabled. In an attempt to reclaim accessibility media as part of the production process as opposed to an after thought, we worked closely with each artist to write audio description they felt aligned with their creative practice. Each artist was an integral and central part of the production process and offered unique approaches to interpreting accessibility media forms.
